John graduated from the School of Architecture, University College Dublin in 1994. He has been a member of the RIAI since 1998 and is a Registered Architect with the RIAI from the start of the register in 2009.
John joined Traynor O’Toole Architects on graduating. He has successfully delivered an array of project types from Banking, Commercial Office, Retail, Residential, Industrial, to Hotels, Clinics and Hospitals for a number of significant private sector clients. John has been responsible for the management and delivery of architectural services for The Beacon Court Medical Campus including the Beacon Hospital, Consultants and Dermatology Clinics, and Beacon Hotel, in addition to elements of Beacon South Quarter. These represent large complex projects with multiple interlinking and interdependent uses and stakeholders.
John offers considerable experience and insight in healthcare design. He has more recently been responsible, for the design development and delivery of the new 200 bed Highfield Hospital Dublin, providing specialist care to the elderly suffering from dementia and other related mental health disorders. John is currently coordinating the design development and delivery of a series of Primary Care Units in Kilmallock, Glin, Galway and the Vista Primary care centre in Naas and office fit outs for Facebook Ireland Ltd. and Delaney Locke and Thorpe.
