Ambulance Stations
The overall objective of Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance Service (HMCAS) is to provide acees to effective care for the population of Qatar. HMCAS responds to over 250 emergency calls each day.
The design objectives were to place ambulances closer to the calls for help. The closer the ambulance is the faster it can get to the patient. Consideration for historical data where most calls were placed and then provide temporary stations to react to the required response times. Shelter had to be provided from the extreme weather conditions for two ambulances in each location. Design a unit to be completely independent of supply services. Each Station had to be flexible and mobile, that could be relocated within two days.
