Our current commission comprises of an additional 13 single bedrooms complete with own en-suite, associated clinical support, staff and daily living accommodation at ground floor level. This phase of development will double the hospitals capacity to deliver the highest standards of Adolescent Care by way of In-Patient and Day-Care service provision. The required additional area has been ascertained to be in the region of 1000 sq/m of floor plate with a further 180 sq/m of existing floor area refurbishment and reconfiguration. The required additional floor area has been ascertained to be in the region of 900 sq/m, to be split over three levels and located directly over the proposed extension of the adolescent care unit.
