The brief called for a multi-functional events centre, sports arena and hotel on the International Rose of Tralee Festival site. The events centre and arena is designed to offer optimum flexibility in use without compromising the operational performance under various configurations. The main arena accommodates national / international conferences, festivals, sports events, exhibitions and trade shows. With a permanent gallery and bleacher seating, it can be subdivided to host parallel events. It is supported by break-out spaces, bar, dining and support areas over 3 levels.
